Use Case
Prepaid Packages for Salons and Clinics
Sell session bundles upfront, track remaining sessions automatically, and let clients redeem at checkout or view balances in My Packages.
Prepaid packages let clients buy a bundle of sessions at a discounted rate — five facials, ten laser sessions, a spa treatment course — and pay once up front. Bella Booking tracks used and remaining sessions per service (including variant-level allocations), supports online purchase via Stripe Checkout or in-salon sales, and shows clients their balance through the My Packages portal on your booking page.
Who this is for
- Skin clinics and laser practices selling treatment courses
- Spas and wellness centres offering multi-session bundles
- Personal trainers selling session packs
- Any appointment business that wants upfront revenue and clearer rebooking commitment
Common challenges
Spreadsheet session tracking
Manual tallies of “sessions remaining” break down when more than one team member sells or redeems packages. Clients lose trust when the count is wrong.
No online purchase path
If packages can only be sold at the desk, you miss after-hours buyers and force every sale into a conversation your team may not have time for.
Unclear what a package includes
Courses often mix initial and return visits. Without variant-level allocations, clients redeem the wrong session type or staff argue about what was paid for.
No client visibility
When clients cannot see remaining sessions themselves, your team field the same “how many do I have left?” questions every week.
How Bella Booking helps
Flexible package composition
Learn moreBuild packages from multiple services with their own session counts. Allocate at the variant level when initial and return visits differ.
Online purchase via Stripe
Learn moreClients browse and buy packages on your online booking page with Stripe Checkout. Confirmation email covers included services, session counts, and expiry.
Automatic checkout redemption
Learn moreWhen a client with an active package checks out for a matching service, available sessions appear as a payment option — redeem with one click. Clients can also apply package credits themselves when booking online.
My Packages portal
Learn moreClients view active packages, remaining sessions, and expiry dates through My Packages on your booking page — self-service visibility without a phone call.
Expiry and void controls
Learn moreConfigure expiry from purchase date. Void a sold package (reason required) so remaining sessions cannot be redeemed — process any refund on the original sale separately.

- *Packages are available on Professional (and Multi-Location Professional) — not on Solo or Starter
- *Package design still needs clear naming and pricing from you — the software tracks what you configure
- *Client credit (store wallet) is a different product from prepaid packages — do not treat them as interchangeable
- *Voiding a package stops further redemption; it is not the same as issuing a refund on the original sale
Frequently asked questions
Can clients buy packages online?
Yes. Packages can be purchased through your online booking page via Stripe Checkout, or sold in-salon at the point of sale. Multiple packages can be sold in one transaction.
Can a package include different session types?
Yes. You can allocate sessions per service and at the variant level — for example, 1 initial consultation and 5 return visits in one package.
How do clients see remaining sessions?
Through the My Packages section on your online booking page. Your team also sees sold packages with status, remaining sessions, and expiry in the dashboard.
Do packages expire?
You choose. Configure an expiry period per package; sessions must be redeemed before that date.
