Service Variants with Client Eligibility
Create named variations of a service — like short, medium, and long hair — each with its own price, duration, and timing. Restrict variants to first-time or returning clients for automatic introductory pricing.
Reports Revamp with Charts
Nineteen reports with visual charts, period comparison, team member filtering, and CSV export. New reports include At-Risk Clients, Client Lifetime Value, Top Spenders, Peak Hours, and Packages Summary. The dashboard now shows sparkline trends and booking-source breakdown.

Reports & Dashboard
Reports have been completely overhauled. Nineteen reports now include visual charts, period-over-period comparison, team member filtering, and CSV export. New reports include Client Retention, Booking Source, Gift Card Summary, Loyalty Summary, Tips Summary, At-Risk Clients, Client Lifetime Value, Top Spenders, Peak Hours, and Packages Summary.
The dashboard now shows sparkline trend lines on KPI cards plus new charts: booking source breakdown, new vs returning clients, and revenue by category.
Payments & Tipping
Clients can tip team members after completed appointments through the online booking portal. Supports preset percentages and custom amounts. Tips are processed via Stripe, and both business and team member receive notifications.
Clients can save payment cards for future use. Staff can charge saved cards at checkout using Card on File — a real Stripe payment with automatic refund support.
Optionally pass all payment processing fees (Stripe + platform) to clients as a transparent line item. Off by default — enable per location in Settings → Payments.
Override the calculated deposit amount for any appointment — set a custom deposit or waive it entirely. Useful for loyal clients or special circumstances.

Build digital intake, consent, and waiver forms with eight field types including electronic signatures. Link forms to services, auto-send on appointment confirmation, or send manually. View submissions from the form editor, client profile, or appointment detail.

A new signature field type lets clients draw and capture electronic signatures directly in forms — ideal for consent forms and waivers.

Gift Cards
- NewService-Based Gift Cards
Gift cards can now be tied to specific services. Clients purchase a gift card for a particular service and redeem it only for that service. Prevents archiving services with active gift cards.

Upload custom gift card design images for your brand. Choose from built-in designs or your own during online purchase. Manage designs in gift card settings.
Client Reviews
Clients can leave verified reviews after completed appointments with 1–5 star ratings and optional written feedback. AI-powered moderation flags inappropriate content while preserving honest negative feedback. Reviews are displayed on your online booking page.
Automatically send review request messages to clients after checkout. Configure timing, channel (SMS/email), and template. Manual resend available from the appointment menu.
Service Variants
Create named variations of a service — like "Short Hair", "Medium Hair", "Long Hair" — each with its own price, duration, and timing overrides. The service listing automatically shows "From $X" based on the lowest variant price.
Restrict variants to first-time or returning clients. Set scope to "this location" or "this service" to control what "first-time" means. Online booking automatically filters variants by eligibility — anonymous clients are treated as first-time.
Service Add-ons
Define optional extras per service (e.g. conditioning treatment, scalp massage) with their own prices and durations. Clients select add-ons during online booking or staff add them from the scheduler. Add-ons appear on receipts and affect availability calculations.
Command Palette & Search
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from any screen to open the command palette. Search across clients, appointments, services, products, gift cards, and team members with fuzzy matching. Navigate to any page, take quick actions, or ask Bella AI inline.
Type a question in the command palette and get a streaming answer from Bella AI without leaving the current page. Available on all plans.
Scheduling & Appointments
Choose background colours for each appointment status (Confirmed, Pending, Completed, etc.) to match your team's workflow. Configure in Settings → Scheduling.
Cancel an appointment without sending any notification to the client. Toggle "Silent cancellation" when cancelling for situations where you don't want to notify.
When cancelling, select a reason from the dropdown and add an optional note with additional details. Reasons appear in the Cancellations report and business notifications.
Blocked times can now repeat every two weeks (fortnightly) in addition to daily, weekly, and monthly patterns.
A manual refresh button in the scheduler header lets you reload appointment data on demand.
Team Management
Each team member can configure their own notification preferences for different event types. Admins can also manage preferences per team member from the team management screen.
Team member schedules support recurring off day patterns (e.g. every second Monday). The schedule grid shows "Off (recurring)" labels for recurring patterns.
The system now prevents archiving team members who have upcoming appointments, showing a clear validation message.
Client Management
Upload profile photos for clients and team members. Photos appear across the scheduler, profiles, and appointment views. Includes crop and zoom controls.
Clients can view, update, and remove family members from their online booking portal. Removal is prevented when the family member has appointment history.
Improved CSV import with better duplicate detection, clearer instructions, and documentation about the free data cleanup and import service.
Online Booking
Online booking now requires authentication before creating appointments. Clients can browse services freely but must log in to complete a booking. Selections are preserved across login.
A floating "Book Now" bar appears as clients scroll past the main call-to-action on your booking page, improving conversion.
Notifications
When a client completes a form, your business and the assigned team member receive notifications with details.
When a client leaves a tip, the business and team member receive notifications via the notification centre, email, and SMS.
Clients with hard-bounced email addresses are automatically flagged. Notifications are skipped for bounced emails, and the UI shows an alert with the option to update the address.
