Bella AI

Bella AI is an in-app assistant that can answer questions about your schedule, look up clients, and help with common tasks. Ask in plain language and get answers without clicking through multiple screens.
Scheduler
When an appointment includes multiple services (e.g. cut + colour), they appear grouped on the scheduler. The layout is cleaner and the full scope of the booking is obvious at a glance.
Appointment events on the scheduler use an improved layout so service names, client names, and times are easier to read, especially for multi-service bookings.
Hovering over a multi-service appointment shows a tooltip with full details—services, duration, and client—without opening the appointment.
Notes & Documents
Clients and appointments now have separate note fields: private notes (team-only), client-visible notes (shown to clients in the booking portal), and client-written notes (added by clients and visible to both the client and your team). Documents can be marked as public or private.
Notifications & Activity
From an appointment, you can resend the confirmation or trigger a reminder manually. Useful when a client didn't receive the first one or when you want to send an extra nudge.
Important appointment actions—created, updated, rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed—are recorded in an activity log. See what changed and when for accountability and support.

Receive in-app notifications when confirmations are sent or when there are pending actions (e.g. bookings awaiting approval). Stay on top of what needs your attention.
Waitlist
When an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled, the system automatically checks waitlisted clients for a match based on time overlap, team member availability, and service eligibility. Your team gets a notification with the match details so you can contact the client and fill the gap.
Dismiss a waitlist match if the client is unavailable. The system revalidates remaining entries to surface the next best match automatically.
Online Booking
Clients can now book appointments for family members and dependents directly through your online booking page. Each service in a multi-service booking can be assigned to a different family member.
Deposits & Payments
Record deposits taken outside the system (e.g. cash or bank transfer). Deposit amounts appear on scheduler events and appointment details so your team always knows the payment status.
Products & Inventory
Import your entire product catalogue at once using a CSV file. Download the template, fill in your product data, and upload — all products appear in your inventory immediately.
Scheduling Improvements
The availability panel now checks for overlapping appointments when booking a client. If a client already has an appointment at the same time, a warning is shown so you can avoid double-booking.
Enable "Enforce Working Hours" in scheduling settings to block appointments outside team member schedules. Cells are dimmed, clicks are blocked, and the submit button is disabled. When off, a warning is shown but you can proceed. Online booking always enforces working hours.
