How to switch from Fresha
Step-by-step guide to export your data and move to Bella Booking. We offer free data migration and 1-on-1 onboarding with every plan.

Export your clients
Desktop: Clients → Clients list → Options (top right) → CSV or Excel. Mobile: Clients → Actions (⋮) → CSV. Requires the "Can download clients" permission on your Fresha role. Card details are excluded (PCI) — clients re-add their card on first booking.

Export your service menu
Catalog → Service menu → Options (top right) → CSV. Categories, prices and durations come through ready to import.

Export your appointments (optional)
Sales → Appointments → set the From/To date range → Export (top right) → CSV. We recommend a tight recent range (e.g. last 3 months) rather than full history — see the appointment note below.

Send us your team list
Fresha has no native team export. Email us a list of first name, last name, email, mobile and role for each team member — a screenshot of your Settings → Team members page is fine.

Send the three CSVs plus your team list from the email on your Fresha account. We validate, dedupe and import everything for you within one business day, then run a 30-minute walkthrough.

Update your booking links
Replace your Fresha booking link on your website, Instagram bio, Facebook page, Google Business Profile, email signature, and any printed materials with your new Bella booking page URL.
A note on appointment history
We generally recommend not importing old appointment history. Importing past appointments can trigger unintended automated messages (reminders, follow-ups) and cause data inconsistencies. Your clients and services are the essential data for a clean start. If you do want some history carried over, we recommend a tight recent range (e.g. the last 3 months) — our migration team will ensure no notifications are sent accidentally.
Good to know
Card and payment details cannot be exported from Fresha (PCI). The "Can download clients" permission must be enabled on your Fresha role for the client export. Reports, products, gift card balances and per-client membership balances are not part of this migration — talk to us if you need them and we will work out a manual approach.

Will I lose my client data?
No. Export your client list from Fresha (we provide step-by-step instructions), then our team will import it into Bella Booking for you. Free data migration is included with every plan.
How long does the switch take?
Most salons are up and running within 1-2 hours. We handle the data import and walk you through setup in a 1-on-1 onboarding session.
Do I need to cancel my Fresha subscription first?
We recommend running both systems in parallel for a few days to ensure a smooth transition. Cancel your Fresha subscription once you're confident everything is working.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No. Bella Booking is month-to-month with no lock-in contracts. You can cancel anytime.
